This post is 2 months overdue I know! But better late than never right? :p

Since my birthday was on a Monday, which was also the first day that Year 2 starts,
I thought I didn't get to celebrate much this year.

So, the day before, baby brought me to Malacca for a one day trip :)

We reached there around lunch time, and went to find Daniel & Lavender who were there overnight, for lunch.

This is the restaurant where we had our lunch :)

Nice environment, huh? ;)

The menu looked really tempting, and surprisingly affordable.

I was expecting the portion to be small since the price was quite low, and we were so used to KL food portions.... But when the food came.... o.O

That's baby's Fish & Chips, HALF EATEN! Imagine how huge it was before :O

Yup that's my spaghetti. I don't even think it costs more than RM20!

This is the famous chicken rice ball restaurant in Malacca, which unfortunately, we didn't get to taste because we were SO FULL from lunch!
Would love to go back there and have a try though. :)

Halfway walking, I started to get really bad tummy cramps cuz of that huge lunch and fast paced walking :(

So we stopped by at this cosy little place to sit down and have dessert (while I just had water lar).

Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the place too! It's called Explorer something... Or something explorer. Can't remember, too long ago :(

That's what's bad when you start writing your blog posts wayyy too late than you should :p

After that we continued walking and walking and walking... :)

And we saw this really, really, God damn huge lizard swimming in the river!

I have no idea what this place is called, but basically it's a man-made ship, built in the middle of the town.

You pay a small price for an entrance ticket, and there are like, lots of historical stuff inside. :)

After the whole trip, we went back to PJ to attend Uncle Jin & Aunty Gina's open house. :)

My dad got me a freakin DELICIOUS Tiramisu cake.

Seriously, it's the BEST.

I find it like, a really long stretchy awkward moment when people are singing for your birthday,

And you don't know whether to just sit there and look nice, look at the cake, look at them, or sing along.

But anyway, I didn't manage to escape that for long.... Read on!

Next day, which was my actual birthday, I went to my first class of Year 2 :)

Seriously, I can't believe I'm already in 2nd Year.

It's really tough, I'm struggling and barely surviving!

But from baby's continuous encouragement and support, I'm going to be strong and pull through.

I'm gonna do my best and finish all 4 years :)

Siew Wei was soooooooooo sweet! She actually wanted to get me a birthday cake haha!

But obviously, since my uni's in Semenyih, in a jungle, in the middle of no where...

They don't sell whole cakes nearby or in campus.

So this is what I got :)

Yeah more tiramisu lol. :)

But I really appreciate the mini surprise!

Gwen was part of it too, those two sneaky girls :p

After class, I went home.. Same ol' same ol'....

Baby & I planned to have a dinner alone for my birthday.

Some special alone time. :)

Though he was acting sneaky the whole day. Real sneaky...

He wouldn't tell me where we were going!

He made really huge, awkward rounds around the whole Damansara area.

Until we finally reached TTDI, and I asked if we were eating at one of the places he goes quite often.

He still denied it, even though it was so obvious that he was finding for a parking -.-

But I was right anyway, we were eating there :p

The place is called Tom, Dick & Harry's.

It's kinda like a pub-cum-restaurant.

Food's really awesome and surprisingly, affordable!

Drinks are quite reasonably priced too. :)

And you know, the usual. We entered, baby reserved a table.

Waiter showed us to our table, and I was like "babe, why's the table so big?"

To which he replied "Oh, you know it's a weekday and all, they have plenty of tables to spare".

So I'm like, okay... But you know, I was pretty sure he was up to something anyway.

Which was confirmed like, 5 seconds after I got myself seated down.

Because a bunch of CRAZY ASSES start screaming and grabbing me from behind!

Yeah, the crazy asses were Huiyi, Jon, Fran & Shane!

And so this was why baby was SOOOO SNEAKY the whole damn day!

Go near his phone a bit also start panicking already. -.-

And I did suspect that there was probably going to be a party too.

Because he did tell me about it, but he told me it was cancelled.

To which, Huiyi told me it was on again.

And then it was off again.

And then on again. And then off, once again. -.-

But I know baby went through a whole lot of hassle and hell to get this little get-together up and going. :)

I love you baby, and thank you so so much for everything!

So that was how I spent my birthday this year. (:

Of course I got some gifts too!

This was from Chloe, my cousin. :)

She gave it to me before she went back to the States to complete her studies.

Basically she got everything that I wanted to buy for myself lol!

I love the bracelets!

And I rarely even wear/buy bracelets cuz I seldom find ones that I really, really like. :)

Siew Wei surprised me with a gift too!

She got me a collar tee from Giordano (I think?)

She has an exact same one too lol!

And of course, baby just had to get me something too!

Despite me constantly nagging him not to get me anything..

Baby got me a purse from Guess because I don't exactly have a proper one.

He's got really good taste because I'm really picky and choosy, but I love the purse!

It's not really that bulky, lots of compartments for cards and stuff too.

The pattern's not too plain, but not too exaggerating as well.

I won't be changing my purse for a loooong time now. :)

To sum it all up, I think this is by far the most eventful birthday I've ever had in 2 decades :)

I know I always say I don't wanna have a big celebration.

But baby really managed to give me the best of both.

It was simple, but yet I could spend it with my friends too.

It may not have been all of them, but I was really happy that night! :)

And I really just wanna end the post by telling you how much I appreciate your efforts, baby!

You never fail to make me happy.

You always do your best to give me the best, even when I don't ask for it.

You'd put anything and anyone aside if I ever need you.

I love you more than anything, babe.

So I finally decided to take a big step, and perm my hair for the first time! (After much encouragement from baby of course)

Time to make a change lar right, since I've been rebonding it the whole time my whole life. :)

Glad to say the outcome was satisfyinngggg :p

Though maintenance is a bitch.

Not exactly vain enough to get up early and style it before classes.

(Plus I wake up 2 hours earlier than class to travel to Semenyih so hell no I'm not waking up any earlier!)

And my curls don't even come out the same everyday cuz I can't maintain it properly ughhh. Annoying.

Gonna blog about my birthday celebration this year soon, when baby uploads the pictures!

It's JUNE already! :O

Doesn't it just feel like only a month ago you were celebrating the New Years? (:

June is so eventful! Partly cuz baby's birthday is in June too. Haha.

So what did I do for his birthday?

SURPRISE PARTY :D

I bet it totally caught him off guard. (:

On 02.06.2011, I organized Baby Nic a small lil surprise dinner/party/gathering

(with the help from his cousin & bros too of course!)

Although initially I was planning for it to be on the 4th,

but we had to go Penang so I had to make changes last minute!

It was held at Cafe Chulo @ Jaya One.

Lovely place. Love the environment & ambience!

Except that it was a lil hot since we sat at the balcony area with no aircon.

Everything went smoothly & as planned.

Although there was one small part that was so stressful, everyone was late!

They were supposed to meet there by 6.30pm but because of the crazy jam that day, everyone only arrived at 7pm.

And we had to fetch Adrian from college at KL, and KL had no freaking jam!

You can't imagine the relief I had when we reached Damansara which had a jam.

For the first time I thanked God for a traffic jam just to stall time lol.

And congrats turning 20, once again.

After that, we went to Penang from Friday to Sunday (3-5 June) to bring Glen sightseeing.

Next day, we took a trip to the Snake Temple.

Disgusting but yes, we saw a snake having his 'lunch'.

But the cutest thing was this!

Time passed by so fast.

It feels like just yesterday when you added me on Facebook.

Started a whole mini drama just a few days after we've met each other, even when I've rarely gotten involve in their dramas since in school days!

We had our birthdays together, Christmas.

Celebrated the New Years, both Gregorian & Chinese.

And now we celebrate our 1st Year Anniversary together! ♥ (:

13.04.10 is the date of our anniversary!

We didn't do anything extra fancy though, because I was having my assessment week

(which is just super hectic & tiring!)

I really thank Baby for being so understanding & patient with me this week.

Giving me time to study, waiting for me to get back for university.

I love you babe (:

Luckily I didn't have to go to uni that day!

When Baby finished up his work, he picked me up and we went over to KL.

He said he needed to pick Adrian up from college & that he had some work to do, so we went to Pavilion. (:

From Pavilion, we walked over to to Sungai Wang.

Once we reached there, he asked me to wait for him at MPH while he got his work done.

But just after about, 5 minutes he came back!

I was thinking, "whoa that was fast." but turns out......

He was there for something else!

Which I will get to later. Hehe.

After fetching Adrian from Time Square, we sent him home.

It was crazy jam in KL (rush hour time lah), so we were stuck.

Unfortunately I felt a bit car sick and fell asleep, & Adrian didn't talk much.

So my Baby was so bored & frustrated through out the journey.

By the time I woke up I saw his cute sour face and I knew he was frustrated with the jam already!

Didn't take long to cheer him up though, because we soon went to the restaurant I planned to take him for the night!

It's a Brazilian BBQ Buffet restaurant. Yummy~ (:

The restaurant is in DJ.

It's not too crowded, but not too empty;

Plenty of parking available outside.

Lovely place!

This is the info for their restaurant that they displayed outside.

The food is definitely worth the price! (if you're not a vegetarian.)

Walked in and we were quickly greeted by what seemed to be the owner of the place.

I told him that I already reserved a place for two for tonight, and he led us to our seat.

He briefly explained how the buffet worked.

Basically, we get our veges from the salad bar.

They have two salad bars, the cold one and the hot one.

Which just basically meant the raw ones and the cooked ones.

There's fried rice there too if you're not used to eating your meals without rice (:

The waiters will come table to table NON-STOP to give you your meat.

They will cut it off straight from the... sword/skewer thingy so you definitely know it's fresh.

The owner also said that the chef is from Brazil and he's an expert in this.

The food is just yummy!

There was so much meat that we didn't even have enough space on our plates.

We placed them in the other two empty plates, haha!

The owner saw and told us we can tell the waiters to stop giving us the meat if we are not done eating yet.

Just in case it gets cold. (:

Over at the right side of the picture is the mint sauce for lamb & vege/garlic-ish sauce for the other meats.

I saw them clearing the sauces right after we left, so you definitely know that these sauces are fresh, not kept on the table for the whole day!

The food was made to serve with this Brazilian cocktail called Caipirihna- which has rum, lime wedge, sugar & shaken with ice.

But I'm a bad drinker and baby wanted to stay sober for the night (lol)

So we opted for the other non-alcoholic house specialty.

The restaurant also had something really unique.

Half way eating, I noticed that Baby stopped eating and he was looking down.

I was wondering what was he thinking about.

This month hasn't really been a good month, with the car accidents going on, and the stress of getting a new car.

I thought all of it was bothering him again.

But then suddenly he was like, "actually I have something for you"

And then he took out a ring!

I was so shocked!

Then he told me that actually we went to KL because he had to get the ring.

He custom made it so he couldn't get it right after buying it, and had to go collect it again.

So sweet!

But I was like, we already have a pair of couple rings!

So now we have two hehe.

He says he thought of getting a new one for both of us every year.

So I guess by the 11th year I'll start wearing toe rings, and by the 21st year I'll have to wear a nose ring. Lol!

But jokes aside, I really love it. (:

Baby & I celebrated Valentine's Day together for the first time. (:

Baby is just so super sweet to surprise me even after he already bought me a present!

He bought me a bouquet of flowers to surprise me (:

Not only that, he even bought my mom a bouquet of flowers!

My mom was soooo happy. I guess cuz she hasn't been receiving flowers in a very long time. (:

Although she said "aiyah, don't need to waste money ma next time", she was still smiling when she said it.

We went to the A&W at Taman Jaya after that.

Baby hasn't been there since he was in Standard 1. He was so amazed when he saw that nothing changed. (except maybe no play ground now)

We ordered 2 root beer floats (what else? (; ) & a butter + maple syrup waffle!

I wonder if we both met before in the A&W playground since we both used to go there when we were young (:

Wonder what took us so long to find each other.

As long as we're together now, right? (:

Valentine's Day was perfect and this is the best Valentine's that I've ever had.

We may not have went to far, posh places but I really, really just appreciate everything baby did for me.

Even if we had went to the mamak for dinner I would have been happy too! :D

I realise that we didn't take any photos of each other that night but I guess as long as the night remains in our memories & we have each other in our hearts, we won't be needing any photos (:

I love you baby. And I don't ever want to change anything about us.

2011 just keeps getting better and better. :)

Baby & I started it off with a Steamboat NYE's family gathering at Aunty Gina's.

With my 2 cousins back from the states, the noise level was crazy high!

But they're just so cute :)

Next day, which was 1.1.11, Baby & I went for karaoke with my family.

Adrian organized it and he booked 2 rooms- Old people & young people room LOL!

Just because there was no alcohol? LOL!

This is the first time I feel so relaxed & unstressed when exams are just next Monday.

It's not easy studying something about a course you don't even like.

But you always tell me to do my best and it will do.

So that's what I'm going to do.

Whatever achievements I gain,

2010 may have been harsh, cruel, and merciless.

But we made it through and 2011 is here.

This year's Christmas is a very special occasion because it's the first time I'm celebrating Christmas with my baby!

We celebrated it with my family. Almost every year my family has Christmas Eve dinners to spend time together as a family and celebrate Christmas. This year, baby joined my family as well. (:

We went to Empire to shop for ingredients for baby's White Sauce Spaghetti!
Guess what we saw while shopping?

Panda brand beer LOL!

We got sausages, bacon, ham, and so many other kinds of stuff.

Baby & I were both so blur case that we bought 3 different types of pasta! :O
Spaghetti, Fettuccine and Vermicelli. Haha!
So we ended up using Spaghetti & Linguine hehe.
Baby was in charge of the sauce and I just helped him to boil the pasta (easy job hehe).

After the cooking, we left for the gathering. :)

We had Christmas at Uncle Rudy & Aunty Margie's place.

And out of all the different kinds of food, mummy forgot to take photo of Baby's White Sauce Ham Spaghetti! Sigh! I wonder if baby has a photo of it. :(

We had tons of Pineapple Juice!

It's locally made but these batches are made to be sold in Germany.

It's sold at about RM20 per can over there and you can't buy it locally!

They only open for local market at certain times to certain people. :)

Seriously it's just yummy! Baby loves the Pineapple Juice like crazy!

As for Uncle Jin & Aunty Gina, what else can we get for them but alcohol? Lol!

Baby said this drink is nice, that's why he got it for them.

Uncle Jin wants to "open" it only during New Years Eve.

Like.. literally open the bottle on New Years Eve.

He didn't even take it home LOL! Probably in case he itchy hand open it before New Years Eve.

We didn't take a photo of it so I googled.

Lol. Seriously too much. -.-

Mummy bought me an external hard drive.

Actually she didn't know what to get for me, so I told her what I needed.

She made me shop & buy for it myself, and paid me back later.

And then forced me to wrap it back and pretend to be surprised -.-

Aunty Gina got us presents too.

She bought me perfume & iPhone cover, baby got some kind of liquid that will un-wrinkle shirts so he doesn't have to iron anymore (lol!) & an iPhone cover.

But our iPhone cover macam couple cover only haha. Same design different colour! (:

And of course I have to end it with what baby & I got for each other right? ;)

Baby got me DKNY's Be Delicious perfume! Blossom flavoured.

It smells so yummy! ♥

Baby's really good at picking fragrances. I don't use perfume but I love the scent he bought for me!

It's this exact gift set. With a shower gel as well. I haven't tried the shower gel yet. Planning to use it after gym tomorrow (:

Solvil Titus watch!

I wanted to get something for baby that's useful for his everyday life.

His usual watch strap already broke & the glass cracked (don't know how it happened since it's sapphire glass some more!) so I got him a watch :)

Took me quite some time to choose though! Sales person placed so many different designs in front of me but none seemed to stand out. When she take out this only from far away I was like "ok this one!"

Baby says he likes it a lot. I hope he really does! :)

After that we went to church for midnight service.

I went home after that but baby continued partying in Mark's house haha.

So that was what Christmas '10 was all about. Roughly.. ;)

Christmas is definitely a time to get fat.

We went to Mark's house again today for his birthday + Christmas celebration.

Baby just got home as I was blogging. (:

OMG we're going to hit 20. Can you believe it?

Secret Recipe Annual Dinner 2010

My aunty invited us (secretly, lol) to the Secret Recipe Annual Dinner this year.

The food was alright, but the company was the best because I went with my baby! :)

Sunway Lagoon Hotel, Grand Ballroom. 20/12/2010.

Everyone dressed up much more formal compared to us.

Long pretty flowy gowns... :)

But aiyah, we go there eat only don't need to dress up so nice one la hehe.

There were lots of performances. The emcees for the night were Naz & Daphne Iking.

They invited Miss Tourism to come to the dinner to choose the subtitle "Miss Secret Charm"

My aunty was one of the judges :)

In the end, Miss Venezuela won the Miss Secret Charm title.

These 3 weeks have been crazy HECTIC!

Glen the terrorist came up from Singapore last last week for holiday so Baby & I played tour guide of course.

Was supposed to go to Sunway Lagoon but things didn't turn out :(

There's always next time. Plus I don't think lagoon can compete with Universal Studios! :)

Then last week after Glen went back, I was busy with group coursework & studying for math test.

I fell sick with food poisoning & slight fever.

It was the stupid minestrone soup I drank at IKEA.

No more IKEA soup for me!

Luckily baby took me to the clinic to see the doctor and get medicine.

He took care of me very well :)

I love you so much baby <3

And from all the vomiting, I hurt my back again...

And then went to see a doctor.

Knocked my car onto a railing halfway driving to university last Thurs when the pain suddenly shot up my back. :/

Called baby and he told me to drive home.

After that my dad & baby took me to a clinic at Klang to get an x-ray.

Now I'm on some stupid medication :(

After that baby rushed me all the way from Klang to Semenyih because I had lab session that day!

My baby drove like an F1 driver LOL!

Klang -> Semenyih : 30 minutes !

Then this week is assessment week.

My god, assessment week KILLS!

I'm so tired everyday after coming back.

First day, we had to design pipelines to transport palm oil from a plant to a storage tank.

Second day, we had to find out how much acid to put into the oil.

Third day, we had to extract oil from rice.

Forth day, (today) we had to calculate how much oil we need to start with to get a certain amount of diesel per year.

And tomorrow we'll have presentation about Top Glove, which is a glove manufacturing company in Malaysia.

Who knew engineering would be this crazy and tough?!

But I know through out it all, I have my baby by my side :)

And I just wanna let him know that I'll always love him no matter what!

I appreciate every single thing he does for me.

Go all the way to Semenyih just to have lunch with me for an hour.

He's so sweet :)

Giving Back.

Last Saturday (16/10), my mom, Baby Nic & I along with some church members went to Seremban to do some charity work.

A lady taking care of about 14 children all by herself.

She can't work because she lost her fingers just after working for 3 days in a factory.

Imagine feeding 14 children, and no income, and a MIA husband?

Some of the children aren't even hers.

Her brother passed away and his children have no where to go.

The church donated food, daily needs, and some money for them to spend Deepavali happily.

Baby Nic & I went for the first time and both of us were very moved after the trip.

The children were so grateful and polite despite the hard lives they lead.

Seriously, when we're blessed with excessive food, excessive money to spend, education..

We don't really have much to complain about.

They don't even have the money to celebrate their birthdays.

Everyday with food on the table is just another day they're thankful for.

The mother's name is Parameswary and in my opinion, she's the most charitable one out of any one of us.

Because she gave them, the children, everything even when she has nothing.

Women and men, we're the same.
You can do it? So can I.
But they'd never give us the respect we deserve.
They'd never treat us the same.They'd never look at us as equal human beings.
One simple example.Guys that sleep around : cool. Girls that sleep around : sluts.
I'm not saying that I'm sleeping around, Or that anyone else I know is sleeping around.It's just an example.
Don't get me wrong. I don't think girls sleeping around are cool, they're not. Just that I think the guys should be considered as sluts as well. No matter what fucking age, you're still a slut. Even if you're 54 this year.

My point is: Don't judge me based on what organs I have/don't have.
Heck, don't judge any of us this way.

If a guy's favourite colour is pink, fuck that. Doesn't mean he's gay.
If a girl has close friends who are guys, fuck that. Doesn't mean she's a flirt.
Don't tell me there aren't any girls who love black.Or guys who have a handful of close girl friends.

Gender equality seems like a fucking myth to me. Especially when a father judges his own daughter.

This is a wayyy outdated post but I just couldn't find time to blog this out.

26th of September.

Baby took me out to Traders Hotel for a buffet dinner on the 25th :)

He was so sweet, he wouldnt tell me where we were going. Say it's a surprise.

Then he tell me we're going to eat "African Cuisine", and I actually fell for it -.-

I can tell he put in so much effort to make my birthday special :)

Baby was like "see, told you we were going to eat African food. Doesn't Gobo sound African?"

Haha! But I totally believed him.

I guess he managed to trick me hehe.

The food was fantastic!

The place had a really nice night view of KL and he wanted to show me that.

He said that almost every country has one Sky Bar.

This was his first time going to Sky Bar too. :)

On the way back, baby snapped some photos of the night scene in KL.

He really did make my 19th birthday a special one.

He's so understanding, he didn't even mind spending it one day before, and not on the actual day because he knew my mom would wanna spend it together with me. :)

On the next day after church, my mom, her friend, baby & I went to Ampang to eat Korean food.

The place is called Nak Won. The food was sooo good!

My mom even asked me and baby to take photos with our iPhone 4s LOL.

I got it 2 days before my birthday. Baby waited 7 hours for his, and I waited 8 hours for mine!
Luckily baby was around to accompany me to wait at Gardens.
Baby prebooked the iPhone at the time 12am to 4am... but he ended up only getting it at 7am!
He didn't even bathe, just went to office and then picked me and started waiting again.
Mine was 10am to 2pm, but I only got my phone at 6pm!
The line was crazy. I even snapped some photos:

At night we had korean dinner again with pastor and other church members.

No photos taken though..

So this was how I spent my 19th birthday.

I really enjoyed it and I hope I can spend my birthdays with baby Nic and my family every year. :)

The Singapore Trip ♥

This is quite a overdued post but I'll just post it up anyway. :)

Baby & I went on our first 'overseas' trip together, Singapore!

Not exactly overseas lah but it's out of the country at least. :)

Went there from 29 August until 1 Sept.

This is the first year that I'm missing Merdeka Celebrations. But I don't think I missed out on much though since my uncle didn't do his annual Merdeka eve Barbeque.

Our bus was in the morning, and we reached Singapore mid afternoon.

Went to my brothers' place while my brother took us to see Junction 8, a mall very nearby to their house.

Walked around there, didn't seem to have much in the mall since we weren't exactly there to do shopping.

After that, Aunty Lyn & Uncle Lewis took us to this other mall to eat.

The restaurant was called Paradise Inn.

Food was delicious :) Reminded us about Dragon-i actually.

After dinner, Dina (with Daryl of cuz) drove us around.

She took us to East Coast to see the beach.

After that we had some tea and some Taiwanese ice dessert thingy which you can find at the 100 yen shops here in Malaysia.

Surprisingly, there're more stars in Singapore beach than here in Malaysia.

Baby & I just sat there for quite some time to enjoy the view. :)

Further away from shore were the ships parked on the waters. All of them their lights on, which made the beach look so pretty because there were so many lights surrounding us. Loved the view.

Didn't know Singapore had places like that with nice views, all along I thought singapore was like some major concrete jungle. It kinda is, in a way.. But the beach caught me off guard. It was really nice. :)

Around the beach was a mini fun-fair & mini-theme park.

Baby, I & Daryl took the pirate ship which seemed like it was no big deal....

But it was pretty damn scary actually. Lol.

We sat at the ends of the pirate ship where you can feel the 'effect' most. TT

After that, Dina took us around more places.

The Singapore Flyer that's like.. 40/50 stories high?

My brother's doing sales for it but we didn't have a chance to sit on it.

The image is blurred though because we were in the car... and it was moving really fast.

Anyone wanna sit on it, contact my brother lol. Help his sales lah.

The view there was amazing! So pretty!

It was a Sunday night, so there weren't much people there.

Love the environment there though.

There was a belly dancer at the place we were having our drink.

Can feel all the male customers' eyes popping out lol.

Next day, we met up with Baby's cousin, Glen.

Went over to Plaza Singapore to walk around. nothing much there though.

After that went to Bugis where Baby's aunty works cuz we were supposed to meet up with her for dinner.

He bought me new flip flops cuz my gold flats weren't comfortable to walk around.

Expensive flip flops though! Everything's more expensive in singapore due to the currency and also because the flip flops were from Puma lah... I didn't want it since we can just get it for like RM10 over in Malaysia.

But I like it very much =)

After Glen's mom finished work, we met up for Italian dinner.

Later on went back to Tampines where they lived.

Went to the mamak nearby to see how Singapore mamaks were like compared to ours.

First, the mamak was CLEAN.

Second, the mamak waiters USED PDAs to take your order.

Third, the mamak's toilet HAS AUTOFLUSH WTH!

Absolutely shocked......

Next day, Glen, baby & I went to Universal Studios Singapore :D

They had a few different 'themes'.

Madagascar, Far Far Away (Shrek), Ancient Egypt (The Mummy), Hollywood, New York, Sci-fi City (Battlestar Galactica) , The Lost World.

I have no idea what photos were from which place... But I'll guess. I think they're all in random order.

Overview:

That crazy looking roller coaster, also the main attraction of USS, was closed.

Unfortunate? Yes... But even if it were open, I don't think me or baby would have sat on it.

Too chi gek already. I might just die of a heart attack and my baby might have puked after that!

Far far away!

Over here we watched a mini clip of Shrek in 4-D with all the effects like.. 3-D glasses, shaking chairs synchronized with the movie, sprinkling of water, air blowing from your feet... etc.

Also there was that Enchanted Airways thingy... mini coaster which was a little bit potong. A little bit too short I think.

Ancient Egypt!

I was pretty impressed with this one.

There were 2 rides here.

one was the indoor roller coaster, Revenge of the Mummy. Best ride through out the trip!

Glen wanted to take it again but we didn't in the end because of Baby's motion sickness (poor thing!) and of course, I didn't see a point in it because I would have already seen everything coming so... it wouldn't have been as fun.

Also, there was one other attraction which we missed out omg! It's called Treasure Hunters where you can drive your own car to duno do what lah... I only found out after I wikipedia-ed. -.-

Baby said we noticed it but we said "we'll come back later for it" and eventually didn't lol.

Crazy ass Roller Coaster TT

Nothing interesting here though since the roller coaster was closed.

Glen & I sat at the... thingy that resembled those rotating teacups. Boring.

They even 'rebuilt' the New York Public Library

There was a lake there, the view across was amazing

No idea where was this. Madagascar also I think

After that we went to The Lost World, which was the wet park.... so I didn't bring the camera around. Don't want it to be spoilt!

We also watched the Waterworld play. Quite good. Lots of explosions

After that we just shopped for souvenirs for our family members and left back to Tampines.

Showered & freshened up then went for dinner at the airport lol.

We had Swensons for dinner & ice cream there for desert. :)

After that went Clarke Quay for a while again but went home pretty early cuz we were very tired from a long and fun day =)

The next day we met up with Uncle Lewis again for brunch before we left back to Malaysia.

After brunch, we went up to their place to chit chat a while, and then left for Suntec where Glen was meeting us.

Walked around Suntec for a while... bought a bit of souvenirs and then we went back Tampines and headed to Harbour Front where our coach was.

I absolutely loved this trip and most importantly, the company ♥

Love you baby! Hope there'll be more fun times to come hehe.

Way Overdued Penang Post!

I know this is a wayyyy overdue post, but better than nothing right?

Went to Penang around 2 weeks ago with I-bet-you-know-who-lah. :D

I won't go into details but I'll just post out photos of the day we met up with Esther & Josh who are interning there at Rasa Sayang hotel.

just so my blog doesn't seem so dead lah.. :)

We were at some famous shop selling Cendol & Ice Kacang.

Rented a boat to tour around Penang waters..

Orianthi: Live In Malaysia :)

Went for Orianthi's concert in KL.

The boyf bought me tickets to go cuz he knew I wanted to watch her play guitar! :D

It was in KL Live, I've never been there before.

It was surprisingly a very small place, which was a good thing because it was less crowded

The stage was really near, so we could see her play the guitar really clearly without a big screen.

This was Orianthi's opening act, Ana Rafalli.

She was pretty good. Only her singing with her acoustic.

No band, backup or whatever.

Nice voice.

Not bad for a Malaysian artist.

Orianthi's drummer, bassist & guitarist came out first before she did.

Stage was all red. Was quite hard to see.

Then she came out with her Maroon guitar :)

She had 3 guitars to change around with. After using the Maroon one, she changed to a Gold one.

She had this wood-ish guitar as well. She used it after the Gold guitar. After that she kept switching around with guitars according to the songs she played to give different feels.

Because we bought VIP tickets, we got a free drink (beer, but baby managed to change mine to coke :D), and a bag with her poster & autographed CD.

I enjoyed the concert overall. Except the sucky sound system of KL Live.

Some parts there weren't sounds at all.

And it was a little hard to hear her guitar solos.

They need to work on that.

Other than that... all was good. :)

We went to Genting last Sunday (4th July) :D

Didn't exactly do much, just went up there for lunch at his aunty's place.

Went to the Strawberry Farm etc though (:
